RV Camping at Joshua Tree Music Festival:

For many, RV camping is an integral part of the Joshua Tree Music Festival experience, offering comfort, convenience, and a vibrant community atmosphere right on the festival grounds. The festival is held at the Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground, so you're already at an RV-friendly location!

Here's what you need to know about RV parking and camping for JTMF:

1. On-Site RV Camping is Key:

  • Unlike some festivals where RV parking is off-site, JTMF is at an RV campground. This means you're right in the heart of the action, with easy access to the stages, workshops, and all amenities. Wake up to the desert breeze and the tune of your favorite artists! Set-up an outdoor patio for the ultimately immersive and relaxing experience. Many of our trailers at RV Rentals Way of Life include awnings and outdoor kitchens and tp  welcome new friends and foster a community around good food and soul striring music.

  • No Hookups (Generally): While it's an RV park, for the festival, most RV spots are dry camping (boondocking). This means you won't have electrical, water, or sewer hookups at your site. Be prepared to be self-sufficient with your water tanks, generator (if needed, adhering to quiet hours), and waste management. Luckily, RV Rentals Way of Life offers reliable RVs with large water tanks that are ready to supply all of your basic necessities.

  • Dump Stations & Water Filling: The campground typically has facilities for filling your fresh water tank and dumping your grey/black water tanks. There might be a fee for these services.

2. How to Secure Your RV Spot:

  • Festival Pass + RV Pass: You will need both a festival ticket and a separate RV pass. These are typically sold directly through the Joshua Tree Music Festival website.

  • Purchase Early: RV passes are usually limited and sell out quickly, especially for popular spots. It is highly recommended to purchase your RV and RV pass as soon as possible. It's not too late!

  • Size Restrictions: Be aware of any length restrictions for RVs. While the campground can accommodate large rigs, specific festival RV spots might have limits. Check the festival's official website for details.

3. What to Expect & Tips for RV Camping:

  • Community Vibe: RV areas at JTMF are often very social. Be ready to meet your neighbors, share stories, and immerse yourself in the festival community.

  • Generators: If you plan to use a generator, be mindful of "quiet hours" which are strictly enforced. This allows everyone to enjoy the peace of the desert and get some rest.

  • Water Conservation: The desert is a precious environment. Be extremely mindful of your water usage.

  • Shade: The desert sun is intense! Bring tarps or pop-up canopies to create additional shaded areas around your RV. Or choose from our variety of trailers with a built-in awning!

  • Leave No Trace: Pack out everything you pack in. Respect the beautiful desert environment.

  • Cooling/Heating: Depending on the Fall weather, nights can get chilly, and days can still be warm. Be prepared! Our RVs have ample storage for all your gear, whether coats, blankets, or cooling towels.

  • Fuel Up: Fill your fuel tank (for your RV and any generators) before arriving, as nearby services might be limited or more expensive.

  • Arrival Times: Pay attention to designated RV check-in times to ensure a smooth entry and setup. For a mores stress-free music experience, be sure to opt-in on our convenient delivery and set-up services. Spend less time working and worrying, and more time with the desert festival action.

Always refer to the official Joshua Tree Music Festival website (joshuatreemusicfestival.com) for the most up-to-date and specific information regarding RV passes, regulations, and any changes for the Fall 2025 event.
