RV Camping Guidelines and Rules

  • Age Restriction: All campers must be 18 years or older.
  • Arrival: Have your RV decal visibly displayed on the driver's side windshield. Everyone in the RV must be wearing their festival wristband upon arrival.
  • Inspection: Your RV will be inspected upon entry to ensure it meets all requirements.
  • Campsite Placement: RV campsites are typically divided into areas based on power type (dry, 30-amp, or 50-amp).If multiple RVs in the same power category wish to camp together, they must arrive and check in at the same time. Saving spots is not allowed. RVs with power add-ons may be placed in a different section than those without.
  • Prohibited Items: This list can vary slightly each year, but common prohibited items include: aerosol products/cans, gas masks, hydro flasks, large chains or spikey jewelry, laser pointers, motorized vehicles (Segways, electric bicycles, hoverboards, etc.), pets (except service animals), weapons, toolboxes, stuffed animals, spray paint, and wooden items. Liquor above 16% ABV and glass containers of any kind are typically prohibited. There are also restrictions on open packs of cigarettes and personal gas tanks for refueling RVs.
  • Alcohol: You must be 21+ to consume alcohol. If entering with alcohol, you may be asked for ID. There are limits on the amount and type of alcohol you can bring (e.g., beer and alcoholic drinks under 16% ABV, up to 24 cans per person; or up to 5L of wine).
  • Campground Policies: Staking anything into the ground is not permitted. Sleeping in cars or oversized vans is not allowed due to safety concerns related to heat. Once you park your RV in your assigned spot, it cannot be moved until departure. There is no re-entry for RVs once they leave the campground.
  • Noise: Be prepared for potential noise from neighbors, the Mesa after-parties, and other campground activities.
  • Water and Waste Conservation: Be mindful of your freshwater and waste tank capacities. Consider using the free campground showers to conserve water in your RV. Pump-out services are available for a fee.
  • Leveling: Bring leveling blocks for your RV to ensure it's properly set up.
  • Security: Security personnel will be present throughout the campground. Follow their instructions and be aware of your surroundings.
